Outsmart the roulette system and make big profits with a very specific strategy? No, it doesn’t work. Especially on the Internet, there are many obscure methods and alleged insider tips with which every player is said to be able to achieve huge profits within a short time. But always keep in mind: if it were that easy, everyone would do it. Roulette is a game of chance and should be treated as such. Everything else is to be stamped under “Misleading”.

Videos that present and advertise a roulette strategy and thereby want to seduce you to register at a certain online casino are abundant. They are usually not even edited and uploaded by the online casinos themselves. Instead, people hope to lure interested parties with such representations and to get them to go directly to the site of a possible casino via a link within the video or in the video description. If a prospect registers there and makes a deposit, those who have set this link earn it. Because they are then considered the recruiter of a new customer and receive a corresponding commission. Videos and instructions for roulette strategies are therefore often created solely for self-interest in the hope that being able to dupe other people. Such videos are practically never trustworthy.

What are roulette strategies?

The objective of a roulette strategy is clear: by wagering the money according to a certain plan and an individual approach, you should try to make a profit in the long term. Other games like poker require tactics and skill. There it is possible to significantly increase the chances of winning with clever moves and your own thinking. This definitely doesn’t work with roulette. The probabilities with which the events occur are always the same and cannot be changed by anyone.

Make sure profits with a roulette strategy?

In short: there are no effective roulette strategies. Every game has to be considered for itself. The probabilities are always the same. All mathematical game systems based on precise analyzes and calculations can therefore not be used. Gamblers should not trust supposedly safe and risk-free roulette strategies and should always be very critical of such tactics.

Software manipulation in real money games

The highlight of the so-called roulette strategies is software manipulation. Some players appear to have managed to redesign the casino software for their purposes. Gamblers are said to be able to win automatically because losses are not posted and only profits are credited to the account. By downloading manipulated casino software, it is said that every player is able to win four-figure amounts within a few minutes.

Never trust websites, videos or eBooks that speak of a safe winning strategy or offer bots for download! These are always attempts to defraud!

Of course there are also attractive videos on the Internet. It should be clear that a roulette strategy related to software manipulation is illegal. This can have serious legal consequences. You should never use or attempt such tactics regardless of whether such manipulation is possible at all.

Perhaps hackers and absolute experts may have succeeded in building manipulated casino software and thereby making money. However, this will definitely not be available for free download on the Internet. In addition, there is the following fact: If it were possible to earn 1,200 euros with the manipulated software within 15 minutes, why are the annual earnings of gamblers “only” around 130,000 euros? Such high amounts interest those responsible within the casinos. They quickly find out about fraudsters.

Successful roulette strategies

From the department of stories and myths, a look at the successful play of second citizens of the former German Democratic Republic can be taken with the topic “Roulette Strategy”. Gambling was prohibited there. Nevertheless, many people found themselves privately in smaller rounds in which not only poker was played. Even handcrafted roulette games attracted more and more lucky knights.

In the course of countless roulette evenings, two passionate gamblers came up with the idea of noting out the numbers played and then analyzing them. So they noticed that the roulette wheel did not have to be straight. According to the probability calculation, playing a number in roulette is always associated with the same chance. In this roulette wheel, however, some numbers were slightly more common. A faulty construction must have been to blame. Against this background, a roulette strategy could be developed, which ultimately brought the two clever gamblers high winnings.

The core of this roulette strategy is the faulty roulette wheel. Without this, it would not have been possible to develop a tactic and achieve it on the basis of these profits. Only high quality cauldrons are used in professional casinos. A production error can practically be ruled out. Gamblers cannot therefore speculate on possibly using a similar roulette strategy.

Example doubling trick: Roulette strategy in the test

One of the many different tactics and strategies for financial success is one that stands out – the doubling trick. It is advertised in many videos on the World Wide Web. Words like “risk-free” and “guaranteed” are often used in the descriptions of such roulette strategies.

This is how the doubling trick works

The principle of the so-called doubling trick looks very simple. We expressly start from classic French roulette. There are a total of 37 fields on the roulette table. 18 of them are red and 18 are black. A single field with the digit zero is shown in green. Players have the option to bet on the color of the drawn ball. The probabilities for the colors red and black are 48.6 percent each. Promotional videos speak of “almost 50 percent”, you can simply round up.

Now players with a certain part of their total capital should bet on the appearance of a color. In the example, let’s assume an amount of 10 euros. If a gambler puts this 10 euros on the color red and wins in a game, he is paid a total of 20 euros. For the next round, he again bets 10 euros on the color red. This principle continues until he loses. Then the bet is doubled and the next game is bet on the color selected at the beginning (in this case red). So the bet is 20 euros on red. If a red number is actually played, the player receives a payment of 40 euros and has thus made up for his loss from the previous game and won an additional 10 euros.

In the second game, if another color is the winning coloring, the principle of doubling is continued. For the next spin in the roulette wheel, the gambler must have already bet 40 euros on one color. The doubling takes place until a profit has been made. Then the trick starts again with the specified starting capital – in this case 10 euros. The foolproofness of the doubling trick is justified by the fact that the selected color has to follow at some point purely statistically.

So the doubling trick is nonsense

The first glance should be directed to the statement of “approximately 50 percent”. A 1 to 2 chance sounds promising, but it’s not the truth. Even the smallest percentages should not be ignored in professional probability calculations. The fact is that with a 2.8 percent chance, the number zero and thus a green field can be achieved. The first minor mistake of the doubling trick is thus quickly exposed and, above all, shows the manipulation of the interested gambler who is simply being exposed to untruths.

It sounds logical and easy to understand: if a certain color has been drawn again and again with a probability of 48.6 percent, the chances that another color will win in the next game increase emotionally. In reality, however, this is expressly not the case. Each play must be viewed as a single event. The probabilities are always the same and do not change due to the achievement of certain results in the previous game. Even if ten consecutive games have always been played in red, there is a 48.6 percent chance that the next spin will result in a black digit. High series of the same color in a row are only emotionally unusual. From a purely statistical point of view, rows are nothing special.

When explaining why the doubling trick is guaranteed to work, two models of the probability calculation are often confused. It is assumed that the appearance of one color in one game increases the likelihood of another color appearing in the next game. One event affects the other and changes the probabilities according to the stochastic model “without replacement”. If the respective drawn digit would disappear from the roulette wheel after a drawing, this way of thinking would be correct. However, this is not the case in the present case. The doubling trick is therefore not applicable. Apart from that, the player capital cannot hold large doubles very quickly. The sums to be bet are increasing very rapidly.

The outcome of every game in roulette is completely independent of previous rotations of the roulette wheel. For this reason, the probabilities for the individual events are always the same and do not change. Roulette was developed so that the bank always has an advantage. The combination of different bets during a game also does not provide secure profits. Don’t be fooled by an advertised roulette strategy. Mathematically, there is no reason why such a trick should work.
